good2grow Valentine’s Day Treat Jar

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, we called up our favorite crafter @whimsicallywonderful to make an extra special Valentine’s Day Craft with our just-released Care Bears Cheer Bear spout on good2grow for the occasion.

She made the cutest treat jars, filling them with snacks that her little’s love, and even included a Disney’s Lightning McQueen version for her son! Ka-Chow!

Finally, she put it all together in a Care Bears-themed Love Basket as the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift for her daughter.

These also make a great crafting project for kids, using any of our character tops.

Supplies:

Mason Jar

Ribbon

Paint

Heart Stickers

Heart Sticker eyes

Hot glue gun

Directions:

1. Pick out the colors of paint you want to use for your jar. You’ll want to paint the lid and the jar itself.
2. Kara chose red, pink, and white for Valentine’s Day, but you can choose colors for any occasion.
3. Start by painting the lid and letting it dry, or you can leave it unpainted.

Next, paint the jars. Stripes are a simple design. Kara also added hearts and heart stickers to match her Valentine’s Day craft theme.

8. To attach the spout to the jar lid, glue the base of the lid to it.

7. Once the paint is dry, it is time to add the character spout. Glue a cap from a bottled drink that will fit inside for a base underneath the spout.

9. After the spout is on, you can add the treats and seal the jar.

10. Following that, add cute ribbon.

11. Finally, the craft is ready as a Valentine’s Day treat or for anytime you want to make them smile.

We love the Disney’s Lightning McQueen jar she made for her son.

Kara took the craft to the next level by adding the crafted jar to a Care Bears-themed Love Basket for her Care Bears-obsessed daughter. She found a sweet heart-shaped bag, and added lots of Cheer Bear goodies, including good2grow. Her DD was all heart eyes over it and we thought it made the perfect Valentine’s Day gift!
