Upcycled Back to School Time Capsule

Want to make the first day their first day of school extra memorable?! Upcycle your good2grow character tops and bottles for a fun back to school time capsule that will show them how much they have grown in a year!

Supplies:

good2grow bottles

good2grow tops

spray paint

string

construction paper

scissors

markers

How to make:

1. In a well-ventilated area, parents can fully cover the bottles with spray paint or let children brush on acrylic paint.

2. On construction paper, let them trace their handprint and cut it out to roll up and place in the bottle.

3. Using a tape measure or a yardstick, measure your kid’s height. Have them record their height on a small piece of paper, roll it up and place it in the bottle.

4. We know you have a great First Day of School pic! Print, roll it up and put in the bottle with the other items. Make sure you size it to fit!

5. Next, download and print the good2grow back to school time capsule tag, cut it out, add their name and tie it to the bottle.

6. Finally, let them pick their favorite good2grow character to use as the top. Seal it up and place on a shelf in their room or school workspace. Most important: do not open it again until the last day school! It will be so fun to see how they have changed and grown at the end of the school year!
